Study scope
The original study examined recognizable SDK signatures in APK code and resources. It did not instrument running apps or observe network traffic.
What an SDK detection means
A bundled SDK is a review signal. Its presence does not establish that it runs, collects a particular data type, or transmits that data.
Review declarations in context
Compare recorded inventories with the app team’s configuration and runtime evidence. Use the Data safety review guidance for questions and primary references. Static findings do not determine a privacy violation.
Current corpus statistics
The statistics page summarizes current recorded scans. Counts can change as builds and coverage change, and should not be substituted for this dated study’s scope.
