2. Filing a takedown notice

A valid notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) must include: (a) your physical or electronic signature; (b) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed; (c) identification of the material claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to locate it (e.g. the exact URL on apk-scanner.com); (d) your contact information; (e) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law; and (f) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

3. Counter-notification

If material you posted was removed, you may submit a counter-notice under § 512(g) including your signature, identification of the removed material and its prior location, a statement under penalty of perjury of a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification, and your consent to jurisdiction.

4. Repeat infringers

We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.

5. Scan findings & corrections

To correct or request removal of an automated finding or a scorecard about an app (as opposed to a copyright claim), use our correction / takedown form. Developers reporting a live-verified exposure in their own app can email security@apk-scanner.com for prioritized handling.
